yunjie's birthday yesterday! zong ji mi ma was fun! we haven't really had such fun in such a big group in such a long time. hahaha! but the thing is, no one wants to plan or organise! oh well. =D
worked in a banquet for the first time in my life today! cool! =D shangri-la's a really grand hotel. and the banquets there are whoosh. HAHA. the uniform was cute. but the slit was really high! the supervisor can talk non-stop for a long period of time, but the instructions were clear. definitely a hotel with strict staff discipline.
i learned how to serve red wine! and today's red wine was from CHINA. hahha. it was really cool to see the upper class of society dance. people in suits and gowns dancing. the atmosphere was just. ahaha. go feel it for yourself. (:
president was the guest of honour. and i saw him LIVE. HAHA no more on tv. so near yet so far eh. but working there was good exposure, and certainly an experience. but with the pros comes the cons. SUPER TIRING. hahaha. and the people in charge of my partner and i didn't even give specific instructions, leaving us confused and lost at the start of the banquet.
though subsequently we got the hang of it, we pulled off our duties with horrible flaws. hahaha. oh well. working again tomorrow! SO TIRING! :(
