"STUMPED2008. Are You Ready For The Challenge?
hahah participated in stumped today. the three musketeers - me, jj and wz. was short of one player due to some issues but never mind, we still went on. we completed 4 rounds out of 7. not bad already lah. we were not that competitive towards the end cos everyone was tired already. and the tasks given to us were super tough. and without our phones, everything was in our own hands. i felt so empty and weird without my handphone without me today. seems like i really cant live without it. HAH. played charades on the way too. super fun and funny!
okay. first station: tcc.had to solve as least 4 maths question correctly. we were not allowed to do workings on paper but instead we had to solve them mentally. OMG. our brains are all so rusty since after o's. for any wrong question, we had to drink at least 500ml of water and the punishment increases involume for the next wrong question and so on. the questions are so longgg. eg. 34+56+158-209/2 etc etc. in the end we drank almost 2 litres of water i think. super bloated and the feeling was terrible.
second station: expo
for this station, we had to fill in what is on a keyboard. need to rmb all the placings of the numbers, symbols and alphabets. had to do punishment for every wrong try. we had to stay in push up position for 2mins. it made me realise how long i haven been doing situps. lol. yupp. and pocky saves the day!! woot. it provided us one of the answers which we couldnt come up for freaking long. next punishment we had was to sing a song with the abc tune. as usual, it was jj's forte and he came up with one. i cant really rmb the lyrics anymore but it was funny. oh yah, and the last last last last symbol that we couldnt rmb for really really really long was one pathetic QUESTION MARK. arghhh the easiest is always the hardest! we laughed at how simple it was but we just couldnt rmb it at that point of time.
third station: victoria theatre
this station was okay. had mini stations within this station and we managed to decipher the puzzles. by this time, we already used up half of our fuel.
fourth and last station FOR US: kallang leisure park
this was the hardest to locate cos the clue they gave us was very vague. at first we thought it was in bugis so we went there. we asked the staff in station control room and they said one of the landmarks in the map can be found at little india. hmmm it was kinda out of place so we decided to take the singapore map at the hotel inter-continental. spent quite some time trying to figure out the clue and we didnt realise that the national library was just beside us. we could use the computers to search for the location. and wz still asked "where is the library?" i was like "just beside us?" LOL. blah blah blah. found out the actual location and travelled there. this was the toughest station where we were given 12 mcq questions about the national stadium and its events. we had to answer all 12 questions correctly in order to get the next clue. phew it was super tedious. we dont even have any knowledge on anything ah. dots. spent quite some time completing the quiz. after that we went for lunch at the leisure park, ate 99cents sushi again. i think we are the most zai group lah. we know how to enjoy during the game. HAHA.
after this station we were supposed to go to pasir ris park playground. but it was so far and it was getting late so we decided to head back to school directly instead.it was my unglam day lah!! grrr. a few unglam things happened to me and jj and wz keep laughing and laughing. =( i think they will be posting it up on their blogs soon since they say we embarrass you because we love you (zee motto). so stay tuneddd. and wait till mylove uploads the photossss. for more information, you can refer to yong bae juin's blog or mylove's blog."

"Today we had stumped! An amazing race event that i didn't know why i joined.. But i didn't regret it at all!! Fun like crazy. Not to mention tiring! Haha. It was supposed to be me, ryan, manda and wz, however ryan couldn't take leave from his work so it was up to us 3 to win the race! The three musketeers. Haha. We didn't really win though, didn't even complete the race. Had to do stuff like doing mcq questions, fill in the keys on the keyboard, mental maths. Sounds easy right? NOT! super time consuming and tough. Haha. Almost burst out, feeling sick in the stomach from doing the first station. We had to do mental calculations and if we go it wrong, we had to drink 500ml to 1L of water for every question wrong! Bleah.
The other groups all came prepared with stuff like maps, bus guides. We also came prepared! With tibits, snacks, camera, PSP and an Ipod! They came to compete in the race, we are here to have fun in the race!
Started scribbling down all the fun things we did while travelling to places. Stumped Amazing Race Activity Book 2008 was what we called to little book we used.
