we are all born swimmers. did you know that?
a newborn can survive in a pool of water without you teaching it how to swim.
we just got aware of our surroundings, that's all.
i just came back from a swim.
i just swam.
and swam.
i set a goal for myself, and i achieved it.
i felt accomplished, but that didn't stop me from going.
i decided to relax, and do my favourite thing.
somersaulting in the water feels great.
try it, someday.
one of the times i tried, i felt the water rush up to my nose.
and then i,
asked God why.
i thought i was so good at this,
how could i still get water in my nose?
and He told me,
"You go through something,
so that you teach others how to go through it the next time."
i took the lesson,
and tried again.
imagine if i didn't,
i just let it stop there and then.
perhaps i wouldn't have found the joy.
simple logic,
but sometimes we overlook it.
i don't give up trying,
do you?
after those 30 laps and a few more laps of the most tiring stroke,
i didn't feel tired at all.
i felt i could keep going on and on,
but somehow i just didn't want to.
i got out of the pool,
and immediately i felt fatigue overwhelm me.
i felt my body ache,
and i wonder why i didn't feel that way just a moment ago.
instantly it dawned upon me,
that in life,
we just keep going.
we are caught in situations,
that seem never-ending.
once we finally decide to pull away from it,
we just crumble.
but i feel fine.
because i know it's all for the better good.
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger,
and when i wake up tomorrow it's a better day.
it's all,
training in process.
that's why,
we are all born swimmers.
